Secondhand Serenade terbilang belum lama saya kenali lagunya. Tepatnya saya mengetahui lagu-lagu bahkan Secondhand Serenade itu sendiri sekitar Agustus 2012. Well, awalnya saya pikir Secondhand Serenade hanyalah nama panggung John Vesely. Saya baru tau belakangan bahwa Secondhand Serenade adalah sebuah band rock akustik yang beranggotakan John Vesely, Tom Breyfolge, Lucas Vesely, Alex Sier, dan John Harvey.
John Vesely sendiri merupakan leader dari band ini. Selain berposisi sebagai lead guitar dia juga vokalis utamanya. Lagu-lagu Secondhand Serenade sendiripun semuanya ciptaan dia. Jujur saya kagum dengan suara, kemamupannya bermain gitar, juga kemampuannya membuat lagu.
Lagu berjudul Why ini merupakan salah satu track di Album Twist in My Story yang di rilis awal tahun 2008. Semua lagu di album ini favoritnya saya, hhoho..

Semua lagu di album ini karangan John Vesely sendiri. Album ini sukses menduduki tangga lagu Bilboard 200 Chart dengan menduduki posisi 44.
Mungkin lagu ini bakal terdengar sad banget. Tapi sejauh yang saya dengar hampir semua lagunya Secondhand Serenade itu nuansanya sedih. Tapi, ambil sisi positifnya aja, lagu-lagu dari Secondhand Serenade bisa jadi temen ngegalau, ataupun jadi lullaby.
